By the end of this courses delegates should be able to:
-Recognise how techniques have had to change to maximise the success of composite restorations
-Be able to identify the best products to use for each clinical situation
-Revise the importance of adhesive bonding and the steps to take to ensure successful bonding.
-Be confident to produce aesthetic, robust composite restorations.
Alan Casson qualified from Leeds in 1981. After starting his career in West Yorkshire, he returned to his native North Yorkshire in 1986.
Since then he has owned and run a predominantly private General Dental Practice in Harrogate. Alan gained a Master’s Degree in Dental Science from Leeds in 1998. His original research was ‘How different cements influence the resulting strength of “All-Ceramic” restorations’.
